Advanced personal care services are maintenance services provided in a patient home to assist with activities of daily living when this assistance requires devices and procedure related to altered body functions. These tasks may only be performed by a licensed or certified health care professional. APC services may include any of the following tasks:
· Ostomy Care
· Medication Administration
· Catheter placement or removal
· G-tube/ J-tube care
· Passive range of motion
